Industrial projects worth 8.3 billion tenge will be implemented in Kazakhstan

“According to the developed map of industrialization of Kazakhstan for 2010 - 2014, it is planned to implement 469 industrial projects in various industries with an investment volume of 8.3 billion tenge,” according to the official website of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the largest number of projects are in the agro-industrial complex and agricultural processing - 138 projects, while the volume of project financing is 140 million tenge.

In addition, 95 projects were directed to the construction industry, 61 to the mining and metallurgical industry, 46 to mechanical engineering, 25 to the chemical industry, and 24 projects each to the energy and oil refining industries, etc.

The report notes that the largest volume of investments is provided for the oil refining industry - 1.9 billion tenge, as well as 1.5 billion tenge each for the development of the mining and metallurgical industry and transport infrastructure.

“During the construction of all 469 facilities, 167,035 jobs will be created, and 140,983 jobs will be created during the period of direct operation,” the message specifies.
